Azalina’s Is Moving

Our final dinner at 499 Ellis Street was Saturday, September 26. We’ve packed up Ellis and are now looking for our next restaurant home in San Francisco. We’re not closing. In the meantime, we’re still cooking through our Supper Club, catering, events, and our sauces and pantry products.

While we look for our next restaurant, we’re bringing a little more Azalina’s home. Our Supper Club is a monthly curated Malaysian dinner from Chef Azalina, available through Table22.

Azalina’s Continues

The restaurant is between homes, but the rest of Azalina’s keeps going. Our sambals, peanut sauces, kaya, and other pantry products are available online and in stores. We’re also continuing with catering, events, collaborations, and other projects around the Bay Area while we work on the next restaurant.

499 Ellis has meant a lot to us.

We’ve celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, first dates, new menus, collaborations, and a lot of dinners here. We’ve met guests trying Malaysian food for the first time and welcomed back people who have been coming to Azalina’s for years.

The Tenderloin became part of the restaurant too. Our neighbors became regulars, other small businesses became friends, and we got to know people and organizations doing important work throughout the neighborhood.

We already miss this room, but Azalina’s is continuing.
